★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 40年代開幕的四海之家旅社，由董振興創辦，曾是哈瑪星的指標性國際旅館，提供入港漁工落腳處。高雄市「古蹟及歷史建物評審委員會」評定四海之家為歷史建物，卻因牴觸鼓山國小校舍改建工程，校方連夜拆除，被文史工作者譏為「古蹟鬧劇」。後經其女兒爭取，才由政府補助，建此紀念公園。所以，紀念性有餘，古味略嫌不足，令人唏噓。
The Four Seas Home Hotel opened in the 1940s and was founded by Dong Zhenxing. It used to be an iconic international hotel in Hamasing, providing a place for inbound fishermen to stay. Kaohsiung City's "Historic and Historic Buildings Evaluation Committee" rated the Four Seas House as a historical building. However, due to the renovation project of Gushan Elementary School, the school was demolished overnight, which was ridiculed by cultural and historical workers as a "historic farce". After his daughter fought for it, it was subsidized by the government to build this memorial park. Therefore, the commemorativeness is more than enough, and the ancient flavor is slightly insufficient, which is embarrassing.
