★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice view both 2nd and 3rd floor in spite of nasty weather. Staffs are Kind and gentle. Not that much crowded. We had black bean cocoa and cocoa charcoal roasted oolong tea. There are lots special tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location with a view of the ocean. Order on the first level and you get a table number to take upstairs to your spot on the 2nd or 3rd floor while you wait. Tables are assigned which is kind of a bummer, even though we were there on a Tuesday and it was slow, but we got a good spot by the window. You have to order at least a drink per person to sit inside. Ice cream doesn't count (we tried!).
We had a waffle with black tea (tea is part of the set, you can't just get a waffle) and tried the Hakka ground tea, which was surprisingly super good! It's a blend of ground sesame seeds, peanuts, mung and red beans, and probably some other stuff. The consistency makes you think it must have some milk in it, but it's actually just the ground stuff and hot water. The beans give it a nice natural sweetness (there's no sugar in it either). Highly recommend trying it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely relaxed place to chill out and have a tasty lunch and great hot drinks on a rainy day! Great views on a clear day too I'm sure. Had a lovely Taiwanese hot dog here! You order as you come in then take a seat upstairs inside or on the terrace!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't understand the price complaints. When you come to Taiwan you can't automatically assume EVERY SINGLE BUSINESS operate the same, super cheap way.
NO, this place has a gorgeous interior, very friendly staff, and amazingly delicious desserts.
In my opinion, they don't charge enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was enjoyable to have a light lunch by window with stunning view. We ordered salmon ochazuke(鮭魚茶泡飯) and we loved it. If the weather allows, you should check out the outdoor seats on the 3rd floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience is nice and warm. You can stay here for 90 minutes with minimum spend 1 drink. The overall beverages is so so like regular coffee. The good things is they have a beautiful scenery at the 3rd floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has 3 levels and 3rd one has a patio that offers great view toward the water and bit of Jiufen Old Street. Although they were small, they had a smart interior design to accommodate as many people while not sacrificing the look.
Sweet potato pie (T$220) I tried was very delicious and with oolong tea ($220), they had a promotion so I paid T$320 in total. The pie took 15 minutes to prepare by the way while I was the only customer at an off hour. Need to consider significant wait time if it was a peak time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to get out of the heat and enjoy the view. Also one of the few places in Jiufen to have a vegetarian meal (mushroom rice with soup). The staff is very friendly and I think the prices are reasonable given the location. You're paying for the view as well, and compared to other places with the same view I think it's very fair.
