Overhyped cafe. We managed to get a seat immediately as there was no queue at around noon. But even then, the whole experience was pretty meh~ overall with the hype (and the inflated pricing that came with it) making it pretty bad. First bad impression was the weird ordering system where the staff would show us to our table on the 2nd floor and then ask us to go back down to place our orders. Was really weird to have to go down/up one extra time when the staff could just wait for us to order before showing us to our tables (you can only get assigned a table and can’t find one yourself). The place is also pretty work unfriendly as: - tables are almost all coffee tables (knee level) - chairs are laid back sofas - power sockets are all blocked out (somehow) - wifi was not accessible (when we were there) - 1.5h time limit which was strictly enforced Pour over coffee goes from 200-600TWD, with the champion’s pour over going at 400TWD. The pour over I had was rather under extracted and from reading other comments, they were probably using a v60 drip guard which tends to do that. Felt like such a waste of potentially good beans. Portion was also less than generous for the price For what it’s worth, the cake was nice and fluffy and came at a reasonable price of 150TWD compared to everything else. TL;DR: Good cakes Average coffee Bad environment (working, talking, hanging out) Ok decor (too much dingy club vibes for me) Ok service Bad prices

Everything is delicious. Super experienced in making coffee. Great selection. But very pricey and not cheap! Somehow still 100% packed all the time!

Tried out Simple Kaffa and it was good! There were 2 QR codes outside for checking in. One was for take away and one was to wait for seating inside. Once you are inside it is a minimum one drink per person. The coffee was good but the Whiskey Latte was a favorite out of what we tried. There are a few desserts but many coffees to choose from.

I came in already with very high expectations. I was not disappointed. I even ordered the $20 cup of hand poured Finca Aurora coffee from Panama. It was excellent. The honey and butter toast is an absolute must and worthy of a cheat day. The decor has a rustic post-war East Berlin industrial feel. I could hang here all day.

An award winning cafe with good quality of coffee and delicious desserts. Very friendly staff and excellent customer services. Matcha roll is the must try!

A famous coffee shop (awarded barista) in Taipei. Queuing is ALWAYS inevitable. You can take a walk in the nearby Huashan Park and wait for your turn. This time I ordered A-Bao blend coffee; the aroma is really comforting and I like the note of nuts. The cheese cake is also delicious. If you’d like to eat in, there is a time limit of 90 mins.

Certainly good coffee but the 1.5 hour limit and lack of service left a poor taste in my mouth. Good coffee is meant to be savored with relaxing conversation with a friend and watching a clock detracts from that. We even had a server come by to remind us at the 1 hour 10 minute mark. Considering the wait for them to take and prepare our coffee, that left little time and the cinnamon toast was nothing worth the price. I wouldn't go back.
