★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my third times visiting there and still the third times trying the Mango ice. Like always, the mango chunks were generous, sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet, and they also give another little dessert such as panacotta with mango sauce. One bowl definitely can be shared with another one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a delicious noodle lunch, it was a short walk over to this Smoothie House for dessert!
The Heart of the Ocean Snowflake Ice (Mango and Tapioca Pearls) 250 NTD was screaming “choose me” at us. It was so easy to succumb to temptation this time around.
Service was fast and there was seating on the busy patio.
Another terrific Taiwanese food experience!

I will come back here the next time I visit Taiwan. This time I ordered mango with pudding. I needed to share with two adults and one kid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try dessert in Taiwan !!! Its a very big bowl, suitable for 4-5 people. The best seller is mango flavor, you really should take the pudding as add on topping. We love this dessert so much as we even eat another flavor at Taipei 101. This place usually very crowed, make sure you have time to wait. Since we came on a very windy evening so dont have to wait at all !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So delicious but not very original. Too sweet. The tea jelly is too hard and the portions are enormous. One bowl of shaved ice is enough food for four people to share. Also a bit expensive. I have had shaved ice for much cheaper with more interesting topping choices. That being said, I’m still awarding 4 stars because their mango snowflake with taro balls really IS as good as everyone says it is. A must try for foreigners visiting Taipei, and clearly still very popular with locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Winter time visit could be a bit disappointed. Although they do mentioning about the frozen mango may impact the taste and texture, the mango taste so bad… Also, the sweetness is a bit too strong and artificial for the shaved ice and the ice cream.
For the oolong tea one, actually it’s milk taste but with fresh taste. The tapioca is chewy and jelly is not too sweet. Maybe I’ll want to try the matcha one instead of mango one during winter time.
For this spot, they don’t have air conditioners so it might be really difficult for people to eat here during summer time. Also, I can’t even find a place to wash hands huh…it’s a 10 USD ice bowl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having a refreshing dessert during a hot day in taipei is a must, and the world famous mango ice won’t let you down.
It’s perfect to share for 2-4 people.
Due to mango being a seasonal fruits, they serve defrost mango, which I think just as good, slightly compromised on the texture. (but you also get a little discount)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m curious what their signature shaved ice taste was like when CNN paid a visit here. The huge bowl of mango shaved ice made us so excited until we put in our mouth. It doesn’t taste like mango but a weird flavour, not to mention it’s not worth the 250 TWD, in my point of view. Nonetheless, the mango ice cream cube on top is yummy and I gotta say I like it.
