Right around the corner hidden. A great place for pictures and making a video! Teens, couples and kids picture all for a good 30 minutes of selfies! A hidden secret.

A place of cultural alleyways, decorated with snail sculptures and creative artworks. The "snail" is origin from Taiwan Literature writer Yeh-Shih Tao, who described his old tiny house located at the middle of these alleyways. He and his families moved from a big yard to this small house in the small alleyways, as moving into a snail size home. There are also sentences selected from Yeh's novel or prose. By reading them, one can access to the old Tainan period and a poet's mind.

While I wouldn’t go just to see this, it was cool to walk through one of the many alleyways. It’s narrow, people seem to live back here, I saw at least 1 restaurant and 1 bar. Walkway is probably better than most sidewalks on the Main Street

I had too much expectations at the beginning. Not that many good spots for taking pictures.

Super cool little alley with some hidden gems. Cool coffee shops and small stores. Some cool art and a very relaxed feeling.

A really small alley with nothing to see. Just pass the alley and it's more than enough for you to complete your visit. I saw many cafes but all were closed during my visit there, took me less than 5 minutes inside the alley.

A narrow and short yet interesting alley hidden beside the busy streets of Tainan. There are very nice small tea/coffer shops in the alley, and small/big snails in the corners. A very good place to slow down and enjoy the life, the culture, the art, the coffer/tea. It's close to other interesting destination too, i recommend that you give yourself a couple of days and walk around in the area, enjoy the unique Tainan culture and delicious foods.

If you are looking to have a slow, quiet and chill walk around small colorful alleys in Tainan, well this is the perfect place to go to! It's nothing fancy, but it was nice to walk around it during the late afternoon. You can find a few small coffee places to grab one to go and then stop at a delicious fresh cinnamon bun bakery. Lots of cute snail art around as well as other art installations.
