★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was what you'd expect to get at the price, not bad and not that superb, just right. The 套餐s are all unlimited soup, rice, cabbage(salad). The staffs are really nice, but when it gets packed do expect to take a while til you can ask for their help. You can choose what kind of rice you want:regular white rice, or the other one(i dont really know the name, it's the one in the picture), and they also had two kinds of soup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It had been mentioned that they had the best tonkatsu bar none in Taipei. Made the trip and found that the menu had variations of tonkatsu. And not much else. Ordered the toro loin and suffice to say it exceeded expectations. For those who love tonkatsu, it would be a regretable loss not having ate this while in Taipei. Texture, taste, excellent fat to lean meat ration were all sublimely present.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food tastes good, service was pretty good as well. But the floor plan of the restaurant within the mall is not good. It cause the restaurant to be narrow shaped, and pretty hot sometimes as well, since right outside the restaurant side opening is a big empty area with heat from below come up and get trapped at the ceiling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a Japanese Ton Katsu Restaurant. The food taste and service are average. The black tonkatsu tastes almost the same as the normal one except black color. Overall experience is average without any significant feeling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is kinda difficult to find a restaurant offering Japanese “fried steak” in Taipei. The fried New York steak this tonkatsu restaurant offers is surprisingly delicious. It is worth to ignore all of other items in the menu and just order the fried New York steak there. Having the steak with some wasabi is just so great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's worth the price and does the trick to fill you up with all you can eat cabbage, rice, and soup. Fried pork chop is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A bit too oily for me. No complaints.
The QR code line up system on the outside of the restaurant reduced human contact which is good for Covid control.
