★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The flavors are spot on and the servings are decent. Definitely the best Thai I've had in Taiwan - my favorite dishes are normally basil fried pork or chicken and larb gai and these were great here, although I did have to substitute the chicken for duck.
Looking forward to my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Pad Thai was pretty greasy, which is to be expected, but the plate had a huge pile of salt on it. Even though I tried to avoid the salt, it inevitably got mixed up with the noodles. But that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that when I needed water to wash down all that salt I'd accidentally eaten, the waiter wouldn't give me a glass of water, insisting that I buy something instead. Although it isn't required by law, most places in Taiwan will give you a glass of water if you ask for it. This place literally left a bad taste in my mouth.
(After posting this I see some other reviews here complaining about salty food and lack of water as well, so it seems that we weren't the only ones. There are also reviews saying that other Thai restaurants in Taiwan won't give you free water - this is simply not true. Moreover, the restaurant replies that this is their policy elsewhere. Well, just because they get away selling salty food and then charging for water elsewhere doesn't mean it is a policy that they should be proud of! Taiwanese are used to being treated better.)
UPDATE: So they wrote back "Not offering free water is our policy applied to all our branches worldwide." How does this make it better? They seem proud of having a terrible policy everywhere in the world?
(And note that they didn't even bother to read my review which already mentioned the fact that they had said similar things to other customers here and addressed this point....)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst restaurant in the department store and the worst Thai food restaurants in Taipei! On top of that, a very unprofessional and untrained waiter especially the guy with the glasses! I suggest that the owner should inspect and train their employees!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is on the second floor, took me a moment to find but it's hard to miss if you walk past. We had a reservation for 7.30pm and the place was packed. The menu offers a decent choice of various Thai dishes such as Curries, Larb, Som Tam, Thai Basil etc. Staff will explain the menu to you and were generally nice and quick to respond. They also offer set menus but we opted for three dishes for two people which was just the right amount. The Som Tam was very close to what you'd get in Thailand and they also offer the version with fermented fish. We were lucky to get the table by the entrance which was very comfortable. Three dishes without drinks cost a little over 600TWD which is reasonable and the taste is the closest to food in Thailand I got to try in Taipei so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ignore the silly negative reviews here, the food is the best Thai food you can get in Taiwan. It has the right flavours, it has the right kick and it's what Thai food is supposed to have, unlike most of the watered down versions served in other Thai restaurants in Taiwan. We've been back several times after our first visit and the food hasn't disappointed once.
If you're too cheap to pay for drinks, well, that's on you. I'll agree the service is a bit his and miss and the staff doesn't seem to be particularly well trained, but this seems to be par for course in Taiwan and I've been to far more expensive restaurants here with worse service. Go here for the food, as they do that exceptionally well. I can forgive the rest just because of that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and fair prices! Had a 套餐 for four people and everything we ate was fantastic. The staff was friendly too.
I think the negative reviews are from people who are very used to Taiwanese-style Thai food and maybe can’t handle authentic Northern Thai. And if you want to cry about not getting free water, then maybe check your privilege.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not bad for Thai food nearby Taipei main station.
Standard taste and pretty pricey but it's normal for Thai food in Taiwan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ would have given it 5 star but the service really isn't great. but food is tasty and is the closest Thai flavour you can get in Taiwan. we visited this place 4 times in a month because the food is that good.
those reviews complaining for no free water, says who that THAI restaurants need to provide free water? and those who complains that its too spicy or too salty or too acidic, i am pretty sure you have never had real Thai food. so please go somewhere else and leaves this place to us who really understands the flavour.
