★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a reservation the next day for duck for 2. They let me know it would be too much food but both of us LOVE duck so we figured we would try our best. It’s a lot of food especially when we did duck 3 way. First way is the crispy skin and pieces of meat for wraps which was delicious. The crispy skin with the tender and juicy meat wrapped up in sauce and scallion was bursting with flavor. Then they take small slivers of meat and stir fry with bean sprouts and lastly dice up the bones and sauté with ginger/basil sauce. Most places make a duck soup but the sauté was very fragrant and made me want to gnaw the meat clean off the bones. They watched us eat as much as we could and were impressed but we still took 2 of the duck 3 ways home. Total was about $60 usd so...bring a friend or two (mandarin speaking since they don’t speak English). There is enough to share.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taipei friend had to call and book 2 weeks in advance and order the Peking duck. Definitely an old shop, and they only have 1 round at dinner time. The duck was slim, not too much excess fat which is to my liking. But I still prefer the Beijing's Peking duck. Overall food was ok, a tad oily but not much msg to cause me to be too thirsty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You dont come here and not have Peking duck, especially since thats the reason theyre awarded Michelin star. Came here with my partner and for the 3rd dish you choose either a dry stir fried rub or soup, of which we chose the first. Was really good, juicy and tender and all in all the leftovers lasted us another 5 meals. Super worth it. Cash only though as with many dining places in Taiwan, and you have to book in advance as otherwise they tend to be full. Not many seats in the restaurant and all are meant for big groups, family style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely go for the peking duck, but pretty much all the dishes we got were delicious. This restaurant is hard to book so book in advance! Its worth the effort. Good northern chinese style cuisine and more suited for large groups. Will visit again highlt recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The roasted duck is great, crispy skin is wonderful. But the dipping sauce for duck is a little too sweet for me. Oxtail stew, fish stew, Chinese leek dumplings are highly recommended, and they need to be booked in advance. Other dishes are just ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overrated place, I think. The food is tasted average. Nothing special though... the skin of the roasted duck is not bad and very crispy and juicy. Other than this, nothing really attached me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Peking roasted duck (北京烤鴨) was definitely delicious. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. It was worth the Michelin Guide rating they had.
There were more to the roasted duck. You should try their other dishes. See our pictures below for more ideas of what to order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Peking duck was definitely the star of the show. Skin is very crispy, taste was good. Sauce taste is much sweeter compared to what you get in Beijing.
Other dishes we ordered were average. Portion size was slightly small for the price.
