★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gym to buy a temporary membership if you'll only be in town awhile for an affordable price. $93 got me a 3 month membership with pool access. Has a track outside to be used. Good amount of equipment as well as classes and bikes. Only complaint is it is hot in here. Very hot. And Taipei is very hot. You'd think they'd have better A/C but it's nonexistent. Just a few fans. All that heat comes in and stays. This only compounds when the gym is busy and people's emanating body heat raises the temperature. Drink plenty of water here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adjacent to the Taipei Small Dome and outdoor track and field arena, the gym is spacious and the swimming pool is a standard one. You can sweat yourself out there all day. Great place to keep fit and stay healthy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NT$110 for swimming pool. Actually, it’s fixed price for public swimming pool in Taipei city. However, Songshan Sports Centers charged NT$10 for 5 minutes usage of hair drier.(From my observation, people who swim frequently bring their own hair driers. I rarely see people paying for hair drier.) It’s unreasonable because nearby Sports Centers don’t charge for hair drier. Also, public sports centers are aiming at increasing public heath. If you take off the hair drier, people might get caught if they want to save NT$10 and let their hair wet. After asking for hair drier issue, the authority replied that consumer can borrow hair drier(total: 6) from the front desk by putting deposit. Please put hair drier inside the swimming pool for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent selection of exercise equipment for very reasonable drop-in or monthly fee. Only 4 elliptical machines, when one goes down, it's frequently out for 3-4 weeks. Hope they can get more and keep them in better service! Overall good workout center with no contract necessary.
