Hi again. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to read my reviews. I'm here right now. I only come early morning when it's not crowded and it's time to leave a heartfelt review of the world's most famous coffee house. Starbucks. The name says it all...now. I remember when I first saw the name how cheated I felt that they named a coffee shop after my favourite character from my favorite TV show. Battlestar Galactica. Starbuck was cool, witty, sassy, smart and good looking, just like me. lol. I'm talkin' about the original series from 1970. Also like me. The new Starbuck from 2004 series is also the same. Back to reality. I joined the Starbucks program (every day latte drinker) in 1998. I still have my original BLACK card and three gold cards from over the years of use. Just request a new card when you can't read your name on it any more. ? In the early years it was great coffee. I mean 10 outta 10. Smooth, strong, addictive. Just like me. rofl. sorry. The baristas were well trained and very friendly and helpful, also, most importantly from a young man's perspective, mostly hot girls. I dated one girl for a week... but she crazy! Then something happened. A switch turned off. I no longer felt the need for caffeine. After 20 some years I could no longer tolerate the rising prices and diminishing quality of their coffee. The baristas also dropped in quality in every way. There are still some great people working here in some vague locations but far and few between. Each year I felt the quality notching down. 9...8.5...7... Now I'm lucky to find a 5. I resorted to making my own brews. I invested countless hours and money to finding my personal satisfaction and 5 years ago after a dozen espresso machines and various coffee beans, I did. I now live in Taiwan (see all my Taiwan reviews) and find the Starbucks here to be lacking just as in America. Sitting here now, drinking a triple venti (breve, but no Starbucks carries half n half in this country, with looks of confusion when asked) latte w/ no foam, I'm filled with nostalgia for the good ol days and good times I've had here. So for all the good times...cheers! And I'm thankful they finally took the cocaine out of the cups and I lost my addiction. oh, so why the one star? not that most will read this far but in case historians get to this part in a distant future... There is always hope. Hope that someone who can do something about it, will read this and understand the common person has few real needs : Shelter, water, food, and company to keep. Starbucks used to be all of these; A roof over my head to keep the rain from soaking me or, the sun from burning me, with a great cup of coffee to sip while eating an awesome chocolate cream cheese muffin yacking it up with my buds. And a super cool and friendly barista who remembered your name AND drink and had it ready before you ordered. They loved their jobs because it was important. Sadly, nowadays, bad attitudes stem from a generation of poorly parented and emotionally stunted kids who have been conditioned to feel entitled. Let's wake up people not with caffeine but with a single star of remembrance that we can ALL do much better. EDIT: 9/2/19 I've been back weekly and some new, super friendly baristas have earned this location the 2nd star. Good job guys!

One of the nicer Starbucks I've ever been too. Large seating area, huge vaulted ceilings. Really open feeling, especially early in the morning.
