在未來，自然和科技間的平衡將會是各類物種生存的關鍵。光雕秀《數位動物園》邀請觀眾前進未來，一窺一個天地萬物與數位科技並存的新竹，以鮮活手法展現在這個共生共榮的空間中，都市建築同時也是萬物欣欣向榮的沃土。
本作品謳歌天人合一及平衡，並在當中自然而然演繹出新竹動物園提供動物開放式空間的概念，也因此選擇以動物園最受喜愛的動物為主角，除了讓觀眾感到親切外，也完整了這座城市的脈動之心。

In the future, the balance between nature and technology will be the key to the survival of various species. The light sculpture show "Digital Zoo" invites the audience to advance into the future and take a glimpse of Hsinchu, where everything and digital technology coexist. It is displayed in this co-existence and co-prosperity space in a vivid way. Urban architecture is also a fertile ground for all things to thrive.
This work eulogizes the unity and balance of nature and humans, and naturally interprets the concept of the Hsinchu Zoo providing an open space for animals. Therefore, the zoo’s most beloved animal is selected as the protagonist. In addition to making the audience feel cordial, it also completes this. The pulsating heart of this city.

It is also a really good place to hangout, talk with each other or simply relax around the plaza.
You can find stores in here (food, clothes, bubble tea, seven eleven, sim card seller)

There are many students here held many activities, like band performances, dance performances, so you can buy some snacks and choose a great site to watch the performances.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s really a good place for students and citizens. Some times, the shows (like Dance, Music...etc.) which are held by student club will take place here, and it’s all for free! If you are hanging out, you can buy some food and drinks at the food court in the back, and then enjoy the show.
But there are still some disadvantages. When the winter is approaching, it will be very chilly , and there is not any shelter.
