Y	Yusheng Liao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are standalone urinals at the back of the men’s room that are quite luxurious (haha) with a view of the road outside. Anyway, a rather nice highway rest stop.

Inside there is many shops with variety of snacks, candies, deserts, mochi, pineapple cakes and a Family Mart for coffee and stuff. Everything very clean and convenient. Toilets and other services. A great pitstop on the way.

m	mnicl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great service stop when drive to/from Hualien/Yilan. Plenty of parking lots, clean and restrooms (many cubicles. Don’t have to worry about long queue). Many restaurants and shops that selling famous desert, foods at Hualien and Yilan areas. Famous seafood hotpot stall & they even have frozen packed version and provide home delivery service. Super convenient! A great place to stop half and continue with journey in Taiwan.

C	Cheryl Robbins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a new rest area along National Freeway #5 and a good place to stop before continuing on to Hualien or Taipei. The restrooms are clean although the water in the toilets is tinged yellow (this is natural according to signs posted in each stall). It's a bit small compared to Taiwan's other rest areas but there is a good diversity of eateries. On my last visit in February 2022, the gas station was almost ready for opening.
