1.車站介紹：跨站式站房，臺鐵宜蘭線的一等站，也是新馬車站的管轄站。除此之外，也是臺鐵北迴線（蘇澳新-花蓮）的起點，往花東地區的樞紐，故要前往花東或蘇澳的旅客需要特別留意列車的終點站，隨時做好換車的準備，避免前往錯誤的方向。
2.車站服務：附有廁所、飲水機、行李房、哺乳室、閱覽室等等，候車室約有五十個座位可供使用，一樓外面有停車場可以臨時停車，並且也有計程車排班，方便旅客轉乘至其他景點。

There is a parking lot outside on the first floor for temporary parking, and there are also taxi schedules. It is convenient for passengers to transfer to other attractions.
