a	avin xu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日治時期五分車(糖鐵)田林線的東端站，也是與台鐵縱貫線銜接的所在。原址在現址左前約15公尺處(近中州路與興工路口)，為日式木造建築，當時站旁還有一株大榕樹。糖鐵停駛後，該處曾變成私營的中興運輸行，繼續扮演「運輸」的角色，直至1990年代才完全停止營業。在田中站前廣場改建時，後側相連的月台侯車區與廁所被拆，僅留下車站大門玄關，並向後遷徙。目前與台鐵新舊站體並列田中三代車站，並保存田中鎮因鐵道而崛起發展的往昔記憶。 During the Japanese Occupation Period, the east end station of the Wufen Train (Sugar Railway) Tianlin Line was also where it was connected with the Taiwan Railway Longitudinal Line. The original site was about 15 meters away from the front left of the current site (near the intersection of Zhongzhou Road and Xinggong Road). It was a Japanese-style wooden building. There was a big banyan tree beside the station at that time. After the suspension of sugar and iron, the place became a privately-owned ZTE Transportation Company, which continued to play the role of "transportation" until the 1990s completely ceased operations. When the plaza in front of the Tanaka Station was rebuilt, the platform waiting area and toilets connected to the back were demolished, leaving only the entrance to the station and moving backward. At present, it is juxtaposed with the old and new stations of the Taiwan Railways, and preserves the past memories of the rise and development of Tianzhong Town due to railways.
