★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store and its products have changed. It's not like it is anymore in the TripAdvisor photos. All the products are in opaque packages with only text to indicate what's inside. You won't know what it looks like until you buy it. Almost everything sold is either nougat or small Taiwanese-style cakes, once again, all in opaque packets. There's nothing on display or anything for sampling. When you enter the store you get given a price list with all their products on it. On it you can mark the quantity of each item you want to purchase. Again, all text with no pictures. I guess this store might have a loyal customer base but if you're just looking to try something or browse around, this is definitely not the store to go to.

Price is a on the high side. Be prepared to spend abit more for this superior candy.
Staff will follow you around to answer your questions, not pushy nor intrusive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their nougats are yum!! Sample first before u buy. I personally like their original and macha green tea flavors. Nougats keep for 30 days as they do not use/add preservatives. Great and friendly service! Do have to wait for a bit when there are buses of tourists buying cartons of sweets!! ?
Besides nougats, they also sell biscuits, pineapple tarts, honey cakes and cheese cakes & rolls. Only found out that their cakes only keep for 3 days so didn't get any as gifts ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best nougat and crispy cookies in all flavors! Pineapple cake is not their specialty but if you like chunky real pineapple without winter melon fillers, they definitely use high quality materials. It’s a more unique flavor than other places.
I highly recommend their cookie and nougat assortments. Nougat is the softest, freshest I’ve had. Matcha was amazing.
