★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adjustable portion sizes! Choose from Mini to XL. The soft-boiled egg comes with the scallion-beef don! Very good but bring lots of water since it got to be quite salty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sukiya has launched Hong Kong for a month now. It’s so popular that people are still queuing for hours. Not willing to spend much time queuing, we decided to pay a visit to Taipei’s one instead. Among a great variety of food choices, we ordered Spring Onion and Half-boiled Egg Gyudon Combo (with veggies and seaweed soup) and Okra Gyudon. The American thin-sliced beef is delicious but a little bit dry. Rice is too soggy. However, prices are absolutely reasonable. Adjustable portion sizes ranging from Mini to XL (size M is just perfect for us!) Food is delicious but not as amazing as expected… Wouldn’t say it’s worth queuing for such a long time. Would definitely give Hong Kong’s one a try later on tho?
