★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, off the beaten path. The nights are serene, the morning a delight of birds' concert with a rooster tenoring away.
The room was spacious with ocean view.
Breakfast spectacular, the bluberry pancake delightful, with hash brownie eggs on the side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner Chris and his staffs Doris/ Xiao Mie are friendly and awesome hosts. The room is huge, clean and comfortable for a longer stay. The surf here at Jialeshui is big enough for a newbie like me and the beach only a short 10min walk away. Surf lesson is personally conducted by Chris too - professionally attentive but never overbearing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surfer or not, this is the best place to stay in Jialeshui. The owners are super friendly and speak perfect English. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it's about a 2-minute walk to a left point break and a 5-minute walk to a rivermouth break. Last but not least, the American-style breakfast will leave your stomach happy all morning! SummerPoint is one of my favorite places in all of Taiwan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to stay in Jialeshiou. We only stayed for two nights but it felt like home! The owners are very welcoming and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Our room was bright, large, clean with an amazing ocean view. Breakfast was included and delicious. Surf board rentals and a great cafe next door. We were happy to spend a bit of extra money to stay at this great place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming to Summerpoint since 2016 and always have such a wonderful time here! The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet with amazing views of the ocean, plus the plants, books and hammock in the rooms are a nice touch. The owners have many friendly dogs who cozy up to you during breakfast and the best part is that this place is just a five-minute walk to the beach.

Owners are quite warm, creative, and friendly. Tho I didn't do surfing and just lazy wandering in room, i enjoyed the quiet and wide surroundings very much, as well as the company by 5 various kids!
They also provide tasty food and juice.
Highly recommended Summer Point, not only for surfing in the ocean but surfing in room.
