★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit this place.the view help you unwind.very lovely place.can rent bicycle for. 100nt per ride.to view the whole area or can walk..walk slowly and enjoy the view take a lot of pictures.i take some nice view you can try..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth a visit. The sceneries are simply awesome. Rent a bicycle and stroll around that area. We had a really great and relaxing time there. They have a lane just for pedestrians and bicycles. It was a day trip for us but we only managed to visit less than half of the place.. cable car was not working on the day we went.. too bad.. perhaps we shld stay overnight next time. Buses r available from both train station and HSR station. U can buy return tickets at the counter. The bus has no toilet but the bus driver was kind enough to wait for us at certain stops with toilet (pls request if it's really emergency hehe).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to spend some time and relax however be forewarned, getting here and back if you don't live nearby is a pain as it's very far from the closest city. The views are great and relatively peaceful to escape from the hustle and bustle of City Life. However other than a few Monuments, the lake, and street vendors, there's not much else to do. Definitely be sure to check out the street vendors as some of the glass shops sell very unique pieces and the street food is fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Water is low in winter but the view is still good. Parking is ridiculously expensive and the space is tiny. Recommend going on weekdays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful area with a lot of local treats to find. Renting a bicycle and cycling around the lake is an absolute must! Great place for photographers who like to play around with 'scenery settings'. Go during the quiet months as I believe and have been told that the large amount of people during the holidays can ruin the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ride a bike around lake is an interesting thing. You can find nice places to take photos. In addition, you can enjoy fresh atmosphere and cool weather. I enjoy my weekend here with my friends. If you like, you can go around lake by boat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was really nice to ride a bicycle around the lake. The bikeway is clearly indicated and the road is fairly easy.
Bike rental is pretty cheap if you know how to negotiate.
The lake is stunning and really popular with local tourists, so expect the place to be crowded.
The Sun Moon Lake is easy to access as well, just need to take a bus (Near the Taichung train station), they are owned by privates companies, but they run often and the price was correct for the country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very large and pretty area with amazing view. There are ebike rental by the parking area along with small vendors in the area for snacks. The view from the infinity pond overlooking the lake is priceless. A must stop if you are in the area.
