★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relaxing place, tarts are super yummy! When you get here, you'll just have to wait a short while before you're seating. They will then give you a cup of tea, and a sample of their tarts, all free of charge.
Although the apple tarts were pretty good, I got the classic pineapple tarts in the end, those are still the best!

If you r not in the hurry, you are welcomed to sit in to have cup of tea, they will treat u a piece of pineapple cake to taste. The environment is calm, but sometimes too many tourist! Overall, I like to buy them when I am going abroad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty much a classic at this point. They'll happily give you a free sample with tea or coffee because most customers are big spenders here. Emphasis on big.
Might be overrated or overpriced for some, but it's hard to be disappointed with their pastries and packaging.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice experience to enjoy one of the most famous Taiwan pineapple cakes. The shop itself located in a very nice and quite peaceful area. The inside atmosphere brings out the tranquil vibe. The staffs are friendly and professional. Every customer is offered a free-trial pineapple cake and a cup of tea. The full box of cakes maybe a little bit expensive, but it's worth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried their new product, banana cookie, which is served with coffee. If you wanted to try their pineapple cakes you can, but they’re served with tea instead. All were free without purchase. The banana cookie was good. Nice banana flavor without being overly sweet. It has a dense texture unlike a typical American cookie or wafer. It was cut into puzzle pieces so each piece was like an animal cracker. We ended up buying a variety of pastries which are always fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly without being overly solicitous.
