★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like Kaiten sushi very much. SUSHIRO is one of the best chains in Japan and in Taipei. They recently open this branch and it's very spacy with comfortably located sofas and easy access to electronic menu in english, Chinese, Japanese. Personal is very and responsive. Food prices are reasonable. Some special seasonal offers are very fresh and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall pretty good sushi. I've been to a different location before but it seems like the selection at this location was much better! I wish each plate was covered though (like くら寿司). It's good to make a reservation through the app before arriving. Peak dinner time on a weekday gets pretty busy (~40 min wait without reservation). For dessert we tried the mango shaved ice, which was really nice and quite big!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw Tommy (tomi) on youtube enjoying sushi Ro last night and decided we have to try it since we can leave the country now. We had plenty of good stuff and plenty was blah stuff but price was alright for what it is. If you cant go to tokyo then this will do. It's no sushi no midori but you get full for about 500NT per person. We would recommend the dish with 3 shrimp, the broiled/seared salmon belly, the large salmon (if you can catch a good one, most didn't look so hot). The shrimp tempura sushi was surprisingly good and fresh. Uni was bitter, scallops were okay, chopped up tuna with scallion was so so, salmon roe was not worth it. Chopped up sweet shrimp was not as good as the whole shrimp. Beer and ice cream were good. Takes credit cards! You get a point for going, but each person gets their own point collection card so you gotta go 12 or 24 times to get a stuffed animal. No wait on Wednesday during lunch time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sushiro sushi restaurant. Very modern high-tech place with interesting sushi delivery system, and touch screen ordering. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the sleek, modern surroundings. Nothing tasted to me as good as a number of other Taipei sushi restaurants. Not sure if it was freshness, the ingredients, or the preparation which was noticeably sloppy at times. See photos. The nigiri seared scallops were not seared quite enough, and tasted strange. The nigiri salmon I ordered was cut strangely, and did not match the photo I selected. If you're not overly discriminating, you might be Ok with this place, while not terrible, but you can do better. Service was fine. Social distancing excellent.
