A	A “A Z” Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't bother contacting them via email. It's a waste of your time because the service is useless. They post English version for the translated website just for show. Slow service? More like NO service as no one there is educated enough to speak English. An entire team of customer service and nothing. Good Luck.
A	Alex Coppess on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It will cost you 600 NTD to get a motorcycle drivers license. That wouldn't be a problem, but I could not find that information posted anywhere on the government website or posted in the actual building, so I am posting the information here. First you pay 150 for a physical examation. Then you sit through a 2 hour class. After the class they inform you of the 250 testing fee. Finally, after you pass the written test and the driving test, they inform you of the 200 license fee, after your license is already printed.

The staff communicated in English, enough for me to understand what was expected. The training class was also informative even though I don't understand Chinese. I would recommend coming here to get your licence.

D	Daniel Luthi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Taichung office, especially the foreign customer department, is always polite, friendly, and efficient. The clerks speak sufficient English if needed, and they communicate well. The English counter is on the second floor in the back, Counter 2.

After everything became computerized several years ago they are extremely efficient and the service is quite friendly. Today I arrived at 9:20 AM. I waited under two minutes to get to a window, updated two drivers licenses, and two motorcycle registrations. They were all ready within minutes. As I was leaving I checked my watch and it was 9:35 AM. All my experiences there have been that way. Whoever is responsible for putting that place in order and training their courteous personnel deserve the medal of freedom, or something.
