★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has worked in Taiwan for a couple months. The treatment we as sailors received from the authorities in Taichung is absolutely terrible, it was clear that we were not welcome.
They did everything they could to make things difficult for us, the list is long.
All foreign sailors we spoke to had the same opinion. So far I have hosted 42 countries.Taiwan is the worst country I have been to, it is difficult to get things done when the authorities are so difficult to deal with.
