★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small airport. There are seating area just in front of arrival hall. No Money exchange at night time (my flight arrive at 9pm, all banks/money exchange was closed), so if you take night flight, remember have some Taiwanese dollar with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basic amenities for a small International Airport. Has toilets (clean), convenient store, water fountain, pay parking, noodle shop, duty free, aid station, bank, seating areas, escalator / elevator, security, tax/duty return, animal plant quarantine, free wifi and telecom station. Not a large International Airport but the basic services are there. A 4 stars. ☆☆☆☆

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean nice but due to size limited to no real services outside the departure lounge. If your fkight is delayed. Then ypur stick outside in ticketing area. Hong kongs delays due to storm makes it noisy and cramped. Also Mandarin airways staff unhelpful and unwilling to assist. I will still travel thru here. Just not on mandarin and praying no delays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too many luxurious duty free in the transit zone and too few eateries, no convenience store. However, there are plenty of AC and USB sockets for charging, nice WiFi, functional restrooms. And most importantly, it's clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived here on Feb 20, 2017 and departed here on Feb 24, 2017. I paid the cheapest fare from Hong Kong to Taiwan if I landed here. Although the airport looks nice, there is no rail link and public buses to city centre or railway stations run infrequently!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice new international terminal, the domestic one is very dated, but has more food options. Small size and efficient staff means it's easy to use, and for Taichung residents the convenience is worth it. Also a viable option for foreign tourists if there are cheaper flights into Taichung, with airlines like Tigerair, T'Way and VietJet starting RMQ flights this year.
There are new airport express buses running through the city (King Bus 國光客運 A1, A, A3, 100NTD) as well as the cheaper 302 from Taichung Train Station down the express lane on Taiwan Blvd.
The international departures area has good duty free shopping, rest areas, and play areas and library for kids. But there is only one restaurant. The food is good but would have expected much more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a convenient and compact airport with free wifi . There is only one restaurant/café once you go through customs and a few duty free shops. There's also a play area for kids and a few nice spots to sit down while waiting for boarding.
