Pretty good place for you to take a rest in one of the house and take picture for your instagram.
But in here, no english instruction so you need a translator or tour guide if you cant speak chinese

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place many times, but this time with my children as part of their he school class. I want them to see the different architecture styles from Lin's Mansion at the Wufeng district of these city. If you like this is a place to learn about their history. Volunteers could be more trained though.
It it also gives you a piece of quite mind in theiddle of the busy city. So down and have a cup of coffee will be a great break of the day.
There are many traditional eateries around. If you like to enjoy local food, you just need to walk across the street.
In all, it's a great place to spend an afternoon of relaxation..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japanese style old houses with a huge banyan tree located beside the area remind me of nostalgia. A nearby coffee shop offers very high quality hand-made coffee. Though it takes a long time for waiting, the coffee deserves this wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was beautiful! The huge banyan tree, the projector fish inside. It all felt very traditional and it was a wonderful experience. We didn't go during a busy time although I would like to see what it's like when everything is open. There's a lovely cafe as well but I haven't had a chance to go there yet. The only downfall is that English is very limited but I understand some things can only be translated so much. Its definitely a must see but I wouldn't really go out of my way to go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You could have a walk, enter the Japanese buildings and enjoy the literature expos. You may share the same feelings towards Taichung during your visit as the writers, and discover the emotional points or locals’ collective memories. Don’t forget to take some nice photos with the Japanese style heritage (the old Japanese police dorms a long time ago). Take the deep breath, enjoy traveling by literature, and spend a nice weekend here with your family or beloved friends.
