★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 於民國50年8月左右奉准設立“台中縣立沙鹿初中大肚分部”，縣府派『陳克己』先生為分部主任，暫時借用當時大肚紙廠廠區上課。
民國51年9月，現址的校區校舍完工，旋即遷入新址上課。同年10月份，核准獨立設校，正名為『台中縣立大道初級中學』。
亦同年，省府派分部主任陳克己先生為台中縣立大道初級中學首任之校長。
11月1日舉行獨立設校典禮，並定訂11月1日為校慶日。
並於民國54年重整新地，增建教室，校門。
民國57年9月本校改制為『台中縣立大道國民中學』。
Around August of the 50th year of the Republic of China, the "Taichung County Shalu Junior Middle School Dadu Branch" was established with permission. The county government sent Mr. Chen Keji as the branch director, and temporarily borrowed the Dadu Paper Factory site for classes.
In September 51st of the Republic of China, the current campus building was completed, and it was immediately moved to a new location for classes. In October of the same year, the establishment of an independent school was approved and the name was "Taichung County Avenue Junior High School".
In the same year, Mr. Chen Keji, the head of the provincial branch, was the first principal of Taichung County Avenue Primary School.
An independent school ceremony was held on November 1st, and November 1st was set as the school day.
In 54 years of the Republic of China, new land was rebuilt, classrooms and school gates were added.
In September of the Republic of China, our school was restructured into "Taichung County Avenue National Middle School".
