The Tuban Elementary School of the Tuban Tribe in Daren Township, Taitung County is the first national primary school with experimental aboriginal characteristics in Taitung County. It bears the significance of education and cultural heritage. Because the Tuban tribe is a tribe of the Paiwan tribe, there is a slate house on the campus. You can experience how the huts built by the ancestors made of stone prevent rainwater from leaking into the house. There is also a two-story wooden observation deck, which is now a secret base for children to play. The whole campus is surrounded by mountains and water, surrounded by clouds and mist, and it is very beautiful. Studying here is like a vacation, a blessing for the locals. It is very suitable for outsiders to come here to visit and get to know the beauty of the Paiwan tribe.
