Huge airport with lots of shops and places to kill of time.

So friendly ground staffs. While our plane was leaving for taxing, the ground staffs were waving their hands and smiling to say good bye! I really love Taiwan, Tawainese, especially their great mentality.

This is a tiny airport with only one small building. It doesn't have a true gate. It's really just a door to buses that will take you to the plane. It's extremely clean, and incredibly easy to get through. You can see the back door (the gate) from the front door. As small as it is, it does have everything you need for food and cash. Someone would even sell you a tourism sim. Now it would have been perfect if I wasn't double scammed here. Someone put up a sign for chunghwa telecom in the center kiosk to sell tourism sim. I bought a 5 day sim thinking I'll have 5 days of unlimited data on chunghwa telecom network, except the sim wasn't even chunghwa telecom. It turned out to be something called Taiwan Star?!?! I wouldn't have found out if the network didn't refuse connection after 3.5 days. I did not even have internet to check into my return flight!! Luckily I did get a message about my delayed flight from the airline before it completely cut out. So I got a bait and switch card that only worked half way through. This is just sad.

Made many landings and takeoffs on this runway back in the early 1970's when the airport was a military compound. As many reviewers have stated, it is very clean and the Taiwanese are friendly folks.

renovated TNN airport now with international connections to HKG, SGN, KIX... hope more to come because it’s really a great facility for travelers to discover Tainan - Taiwan’s ancient capital rich in history, legacy and cultural mix.
