★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is re-construct from historical building. The new art museum is at the back integrated to the old police station. There is not much to see in art museum. Few gallery's are open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There were three amazing exhibitions when we visited today. And it was the first day for Cheng-Hsiung Chen's work copper tooling. The details on the faces, and postures each and every sculpture was truly remarkable.
I also enjoyed Wu-Yung Hsu centennial exhibition.
The museum space design impressive, exhibitions were well curated. A must visit if you're in Tainan.

Nice event at the museum.
Building 1 is the old building with small exhibition telling its story.
Building 2 is new museum 7 floors with lots of galleries and restaurants oj the top floor
Easy to go by public transportation

It was designed by Sutejiro Umezawa. The building was constructed in 1931 originally as the Tainan Police Department.It is the earliest existing police station building in Taiwan.
The gallery is so good and beautiful. The theme “ The carving of gaze” - created by 陳正雄. He is an amazing artist. His character are full of vitality . We had a great time. Recommend ??
