★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's not a lot of material for those who can't read Chinese, but it's still a nice place to spend an hour or so for anyone interested in historic buildings or the judicial system's evolution in Taiwan.
There is some English text describing the aforementioned evolution of the Taiwanese justice system. It makes for an interesting history lesson.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing. A great interactive museum of the history of justice in Taiwan and really a history of western courts.
There are fun things for children and lots of hands on experience.
If you are interested in architecture and restoration this is also for you. Old style joinery disassembly and reassembly.
Clearly impressive with a welcoming staff and comfortable washrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting building, very informative on the judicial systems in Taiwan. Love the hills where u could dress up in a robe and role play as players of the court. Could finish the walkabout in 30 mins. Also remember to drop by the mirror room where u can see the tip of the tower upside down. Not forgetting the mirrors that illuminate the hallwAy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the three major buildings in Taiwan during the Japanese occupation
You can see the top architectural aesthetics of that era
All structure, design, lighting
Are very much like the Japanese era
Most of the main body and roof use wooden building materials
And many joints use wooden dowel structures
No steel nails used
A greater reflection of the Japanese people's precise mastery of architecture
And attention to detail
From floor to ceiling to every pillar
There are sculptures and glass embellishments
You can also see the original appearance of the court when you walk into the court
Prison for prisoners
Warehouse where judgments are kept
Robes worn by judges and lawyers
Vividly restore the scene of the past
Now open to the public for free
Also held many law-related exhibitions
Let us know more about the court
No longer afraid of the court
Reverse ordinary people's cold stereotype of the court
