Super proud of this city but I wonder if I can get some English help here. The staffs looks very friendly and polite. Big plus for representing the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shady HSR station. It's connected to a TRA train station (Shalun), which makes it very easy, fast and cheap to get into Tainan proper. But there is literally no signage indicating where the TRA train station is, or that one is even there.
There are signs for taxis and buses, but not for the train. The only logical explanation I can come up with is that the setup is intentional and designed to protect the interests of the taxi and bus companies?
I'd expect something like this in a 3rd world country, not a highly developed country with a high speed rail.
Tip: once you exit the HSR platform at the ticket carousel, turn left instead of right. The walkway leads right to the TRA platform.

Recently the buildings were under renovation, at the same Time the Taiwan Railroad Bureau was doing the Railway underground process in these years. Take a glance when you visit the City …. not bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfortable, convenient, and most practical way traveling from Northern Taiwan to Tainan. Fare is quite pricey, but early bird discount fares are available. THSR Tainan Station is about 1 hour by THSR Shuttle Bus to city centre, or 0.5 hour by taxi or TRA train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s quite new, clean and tidy, and easy to navigate (the station seems quite small). It’s quite far away from the city area and touristy areas, it costs about TWD350 for a taxi from East District. The train is very clean and comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's my first time visiting here and I have to say the station is at the standard of all the others HSR stations. You can find many food stores including Japanese ramen shop and a small store where they sell luggages. Most of the things are at the first floor. Upstairs you have just the platforms. Very clean environment. Possibility to have locker for storing your personal belonging
