Tainan Zuojhen Fossil Park - Tainan City

From Tainan city centre it’s a 40 minute drive to get here. Once we got here unfortunately parking space is full so we parked in a private car park (it’s a local resident’s courtyard really) space is tight but not a big problem. Our kids had fun here! Great displays of fossils and cute furry creatures. It’s a modern new complex with good natural lights. Great for photos. We finished our tour around lunchtime. Had to drive back to the city due to a lack of food options around the museum. Overall good experience!

Well design museum complex! Great for kids and also for adults who love unique construction!

Super disappointed ? some of them were kids play stuffed animals ? And the display room was empty with lot of destroyed display . But it actually get better after walking through all the buildings 1to 5, that I was amazied by the geography sand which could re-sculpture by its own. But the price of the Museum was $100and got nothing surrounded which tourist will leave the place directly. The museum lose the chance to led tourist pay more attention to their society and environment, even the will to consume more there.

A great place to know the fossils and local history. Have quite many interactive facilities for kids to get fun with and knowledge at the same time. Most illustrations printed in both Chinese and English, very informative and tourist friendly. The route design is easy to understand and not too tiring. Highly recommended!

Family happy day! so fun to visit. Not only many kinds of fossils and learned new dinosaurs as well. Also history and evolution! There are good interaction games for kids to play. The 2nd phase building is under construction. There’re many parking nearby and also across street. (No need to pay 100 each) Recommended!!

25 kms drive from central tainan, takes around 45to 50 Mins by scooter and the road way is quite amazing as it mostly surrounded by trees or canals. A fossil museum, filled with many kinds of animal fossil and also with animals being preserved as it is, really original ? and lively to look at it. It's an excellent 2 to 3 hour time pass place, almost everything is avaliable in English, only the auto recorded voice is Chinese, but it's doesn't matter, not much info, they have these 360 dark rooms which is afterwarda projected with cool animations Kids would love this place and have a lot of fun ? as it is with animals around. There are also guides which come from the starting to the ending who explain you in Chinese and tell you all the history. No food or liquid is allowed inside. I don't think u can take water Also, we were almost tired at the half way, where ever toilets are there, they have the drinking water purifier from which you can drink. There are totally 5 sections and almost 3-4 buildings full of fossils, the ground paintings and stickers guided us correctly all the way through. Really loved the place, I had an opportunity to take many pictures and also get souvenirs at the last. Recommended for families ? with kids. Happy vacation fellows Peace ✌ ✌ ✌

Good place to bring the kids to enjoy and learn at the same time. No eating allowed in the Museum but there are food sold here and designated place to eat/drink. Not sure about public transport but a lot of car parks around. FYI there is a short 3D movie but only in Chinese without other Cc.

In this theme park, I know about numerous the special knowledge about the dinosaur, such as the evolution of animals, their eating habits and living environment, and their feature. They use interactive device or lighting design to help children quickly realize the creature, which is classified by age of biological evolution, they seldom learn from text books. However, there are only a few parking spaces, so it will cause tourists who come to here to play in the holiday some inconvenience. I have a great memory there and if I have change to visit here again, I will invite my friend to here.
