★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to find anime stuff in Taipei. They have manga in both japanese and Chinese most in chinese, some in Japanese, nothing i saw was in English. Not much 18+ or h stuff. Very cool store from Japan to visit here, must see if you like anime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent shop with anime goods, a little towards the small side in terms of shop size and variety of goods available. Located at basement, have to go down a flight of stairs to access the shop. Overall just average when comparing to the Animate shops at Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Has a vast collection of books and anime merchandise. They do sell books in Japanese language (manga, light novels and magazines). Staffs could also understand and speak a bit of English which is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Animate store had many anime and manga books, action figures and much much more. It was a first for me, to see such complete anime/manga related paraphernalia. I was so excited and had a good time. The store's located underground. Worth a look at least, but there's something for everyone so you might leave with your wallet lighter ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for all your anime and nerd needs! Bought a couple Haikyu! blind boxes, and they were reasonably priced compared to the same ones in the US.
With popular shows and games, they also carry merch for some niche series! It was a nice surprise.
The entryway also made it for a cute experience if it’s your first time going. Lots of illuminating ads, you might be lucky and see something you’re fond of!
My only wish is that there was better temperature control in the store. Both times I’ve gone it was hotter than it was outside- but maybe it’s too keep from it crowding.
The store is worth the visit! Definitely a stop you’ll have to make if you like anime and manga ✨
