If your doctor urged you to have EVLT for your varicose veins, seek a second opinion at a different hospital.

The information infrastructure is very poor, and the process flow is very fragle. Just wonder how can a sizable hospital totally rely on manual labor whille not having precise procudure to govern its operation? You may gamble your life if coming here, but it's totally up to you.

Talented doctors and friendly staffs!

Doctor’s schedule is way too busy between Taipei and Taoyuan. Even the staring time is 1330, the doctor slowly show up at 1400 and not even starting the appointment yet. Very poor time management. Wasting patient’s time.

Firstly, I got a surgery for my cyst removal on my face in this hospital. I chose the doctor in order to get the best hand for my surgery. However, the doctor didn't do the surgery at all. And I don't even know the background of the doctor who did the surgery to me. Secondly, the doctor who did the surgery was good in ability but worst in manner. For sure... For the first time in my life, I was yelled by the doctor because she speaks in Chinese and I didn't understand what she was saying. And the problem is quite simple, i didn't close my eyes when she turned on the surgical light. I tried to understand her Chinese because I know that I'm in Taiwan, but keep yelling to your patient was not a good thing at all especially for a big hospital like this. She didn't even ask me why I didn't understand until I yelled back to her and explained it. It was so embarassing...

Hospital was closed when I came. Checked Working hours on Google Maps - not specified. Asked 3 personal - nobody knows. Checked 5 different entrances.. Then finally found after spent 50 minutes of my time! Post it here. Pls make it more accessible!

The hospital is outdated and methods are also outdated in obgyn labor and delivery. Reminds me of way delivery was done 30 years ago. Delivery room is very small and not equipped for labor. I wanted an epidural but the one they gave me did not work. I was in pain and uncomfortable every time they needed to do a cervical check and use a catheter for urine removal after my epidural. I asked for more cause I could feel everything but they did not help me. This is also a teaching hospital so my doctor did not deliver but allowed residents and nursing staff to deliver my baby. My baby had difficulty coming out and the whole process could have turned into a dangerous situation. I do not recommend coming here, especially if you don’t speak Chinese well. They will not listen to you and your dr will not be around to help communicate your concerns. I could have chosen any hospital and had the VIP expat treatment at Adventist but I chose this hospital because of the reputation of a doctor from friend referral. I strongly regret this decision. Only plus is that the after care staff at the maternity ward were patient and kind. Baby nursery nurses also very kind and helpful. (Pictures from room I stayed at in maternity ward)
