Very poor place with run down facilities. Staff here are super uncaring and unprofessional. Enter at your own risk!

If you're going to take foreigner's medical examination at this place, I highly recommend you think twice before doing that. This hospital is not ready for this kind of examination. The doctor gave wrong list of items and please check the exact list on the internet before taking the examination. At the date you thought you're good to have the report, they'll told you they've forgotten to take some of the examinations and you'll need to paid extra money for doing that. And another half day would be spent for sure. Maybe this is one of the way for them to earn extra income.

Doctors actually care about their patients here! Especially the Director of Infectious Disease! And their er is the most efficient amongst other hospitals.

The staff lacks the hospitality to make people feel welcomed. As a non-Chinese speaker, it's really difficult to navigate through the hospital since nothing is written in English and the staff lacks the language ability and hospitality to help you. It's frustrating as you're just walking around looking like a lost child. The staff also doesn't seem to really care about helping and everyone seems cold. There's no eye contact and it seems they really just want to get as many people through the system ad possible. This hospital deserves 1 star, but I do appreciate that there was someone willing to help despite their lack of English ability so 1 star for that. Taiwan's hospital system can be quite intimidating if you don't do there often, which is very true compared to the Taiwanese. Hopefully the staff can be trained to be more welcoming and sociable so that the overall experience there could be more positive. But unfortunately, it's more of societal problem as most Taiwanese professionals lack social skills.
