★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For police records, their service is a real disappointment.. Lady at the counter along with the volunteer (old guy) were inhospitable. The volunteer in particular was rude. On the technical side, the certificate they issued looks informal and borderline illegitimate (they need a mode legitimate looking format and stamp).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Applying for a criminal record? Here's the place you need to be. Of course the certificate is meant to prove you a non-criminal well-behaved citizen of Taiwan. Make sure you apply it online in advance, so that you could come collect it in two days.
