Taipei Expo Farmer's Market

Farmers from all over the middle or Northern Taiwan come here with their specialty agricultural produce and homemade snacks. Tea farmers and coffee growers or roasters will be also found here with their proud beverages.

Nice place to visit

Nice selection of fresh local goods. Great place for gift shopping before a big family dinner. Easy to get to from Taoyuan.

A big weekend farmer’s market selling fresh vegetable & fruits, and some organic stuff. High quality one. Food stalls selling tasty food like sausage, cane juice, yam noodle etc. Very nice experience that we don’t really expect. Love the greenery stall at 1/F, you may reserve to join the class in learning how to make your DIY plant decoration! Will make it next time?

For people into organic food, this the right place to visit and lots of farmer things. But at the back there are lots of food market. Lots of shop and stall. Get off at Yuanshan MRT station and when you go out you can see lots of peoples go to that direction. Quite nice to explore.. Mini night market but mostly is food.

I love this clean, large, upscale, and festive Farmer's Market at the Taipei Expo Park. It is located just outside Yuanshan MRT station. I go here often. It is held every weekend and most holidays, all day. Everything offered is mostly organic and made/grown in Taiwan. Offers everything from vegetables, free range eggs and chicken, to coffee, Taiwan cacao, tea, oils, raw honey, green plants, etc. There is a variety of International style food in the Maji*2 food court. Everything is covered and shaded: perfect rain or shine. Bathrooms are clean and plentiful. There are colorful performances by street artists. Usually offers lots of activities for kids to do, too. A bonus is that every weekend other venues, sometimes 2 or 3, are also being offered in the same area. Anything from shoes and kids toys, to artisan crafts, to music concerts. You never completely know what you might encounter here. It is like a different festival every weekend!

Nice farmer’s market. Mostly fresh vegetables and fruit but there are some stalls selling cooked food (sausages, etc.). A nice place to go for fruit and they usually have samples to try. The prices are quite reasonable (especially compared to other countries). This area also has some restaurants, an outdoor food court, and a nice green lawn/park. It’s worth checking out. Open every Saturday and Sunday and right next to the Yuanshan (圓山) MRT station.

A bit disappointed being that shops are overpriced. Frankly, I can buy similar products in my neighborhood for a better price. Only good thing is good to walk under a sunny Sunday afternoon, giving Mom a good push on her wheelchair.
