In Taiwan, each bank offers different foreign currency exchange rates and fees, it is important to know not only the rate, but also the fees each bank charges. If you are visiting Taiwan, I would highly recommend that you exchange a small amount at airport, and visit Fubon Bank for large amount. The difference can be as high as 1% of the total. Do remember to bring your passport as ID is required for citizens and foreigners alike.
