★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bakery. It is not easy to find really good quality pastries in Taipei, never mind for a reasonable price. They have a great selection, including my favourite taro roses, so rare in other shops, and other special sweets. They use high quality ingredients, and you can tell from the flavour. I also love that they don't use too much sugar. All this for a fair price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their pineapple cake is honestly the best in Taiwan. It's not too sweet, and it has the perfect texture. Their moon cake is also perfectly made, and tastes amazing. The packaging is also beautifully made so it's the perfect to gift for your foreign or even local friends. Not only the pastries there is absolutely delectable, the service there is absolutely amazing. The store is also really clean. I would 100% go back to buy more of their pastries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Li Chi has always been known for their legendary sun cakes. It does live up to its reputation. The sweetness was just right. The aroma of butter and sugar reminds you of the short cake. The texture of this bread is very special. The filling has a bit of soft caramel texture. This is a perfect snack to have with tea (oolong tea would be perfect).
Other pastries are alright. Almond nougat, although a typical snack, is pretty good here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely loved this quaint store with bunnies as its mascot. They served complimentary tea, and samples of the top goods. Plus, they offered unique innovative products such as mung bean cake with mushrooms that was vegetarian, and longan sun cake, and taro moon cake. Also, you could pay with credit card. And they had a wide variety of gift boxes to choose from. Furthermore, this bakery has been around since the late 1800s.
