Taipei Mandarin Center-台北語学センター-타이페이 언어중심 - TMC

I have been studying at TMC for a year and a half now and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The teachers and reception are friendly and supportive, the courses are flexible and the teaching is stimulating and effective. Chinese takes time to learn and I am very grateful for the encouragement I have had from TMC to stay motivated.

A very friendly atmosphere. The staff at TMC was able to work around my complicated schedule without any issues. The teachers all did a wonderful job and made learning much more interesting than ever expected.

I studied Chinese here for 5 months and my experience has been very positive. The teacher was very well prepared and motivating, making all classes very interactive and interesting. I’d come back if I had chance in the future.

TMC is a good place to learn Mandarin. It is super helpful, especially when you’re new to living in Taiwan. This was definitely more affordable than other schools. Also, the person managing communications via Messenger or LINE does a great job providing info quickly. They were also flexible when my employer changed my work schedule once summer started. They allowed me to switch to another section that best fit my availability. The facility itself isn’t fancy but I’m ok with that bc I’m not trying to pay more in tuition. It takes a while to get use to how businesses squeeze into questionable looking buildings but after a few months in the country, you get use to it; this isn’t a fancy school but the teachers are good at what they do. My teachers have all been wonderful and I really like the textbook that’s used in class.

During my one-month class, the teacher was very helpful and passionate in teaching. I enjoy the interaction with other classmates!

After a trial in a group class, I decided to do one on one classes with the teacher - Yu Chen. She was fantastic! My mandarin has drastically improved. She also adjusted her lesson plans based on my language goals. I was learning a mix of simplified and traditional Chinese, so she was super helpful in meeting my goals. She and the Center were also super flexible in helping me switch to online classes amid the covid restrictions. I really appreciate their understanding and flexibility. I highly recommend this learning Center. 非常棒的學校！

I highly recommend this center if you are looking for a way to improve your Chinese. The time is very flexible for those who are looking for a way to improve your Chinese besides your work.
