Some of the teachers were unable to speak even conversational English, never mind teach in their assigned subjects. There was a lack of curriculum and syllabus, and asking for more details just brought obfuscation and rudeness. When I finally discovered what was being taught (very little), and how (very badly), I immediately started looking for a new school situation for my child. I have no comment on the regular program at Cheng Zheng, but I wouldn’t recommend the bilingual program to anyone. It was a year and a half of wasted time for my child.
