Taipei New Horizon Building

Chill place! Nice and beautiful, so many exhibitions and creative things , can also enjoy greens and garden fountain there.

Not sure what's the purpose or meaning of closing most entries and only have a couple of access entry/exit as it's definitely a fire hazard! Lockdown is over! There were massive amount of people in the building.... So unsafe!

Quiet place for some shopping and has a nice foodcourt with Western options. There's an Eslite bookstore here with a coffee shop.

Super beautiful and so relaxing to walk around the pond. During events, this place is so lively and full of people.

The Gucci Garden Show was amazing. Unfortunately the exhibition ended already. Look forward to more events like this for luxury brands to demonstrate more than just commercial products.

This building requires a security pass to go in though you may be able to visit when there are events. I love the open space concept, the great view, and the spacious seating areas here. It is where lots of start-ups meet up, and you can easily feel the vibe here. When you get stuck, simply step out to the roof garden for a great view of the surrounding xinyi district. There are also water dispenser, microwave, vending machines etc available, which is rather convenient.

I came here at 9am on a Saturday right when it opened, it wasn’t crowded. There was a 100-Year Taiwanese Literature exhibition going on, which I enjoyed reading through. The admission is free, it took me about 1 hour to walk through the whole building.

Gorgeous hotel bang in the middle of where you want to be when visiting Taiwan ?? ! The view from our room was stunning and you can see the heart of Taipei Dome is glowing. Everything is in easy enough walking distance with old Cigarettes Factory Park 10 minutes walk at the top of the street and 忠孝&市民 Ave straight in front as soon as you walk out the doors, anything else can be easily accessed from the MRT (捷運) which has an entrance right outside the hotel. The room was very nice with a HUGE comfy bed and en-suite bathroom. The lovely housekeeper would always give a smile and a wave every morning as we left and would tell us to have a lovely day. The only negative that I could really take away was the crazy prices for food if you wanted to eat there but we never did as we were out all day every day of the 5 we were there for. When we eventually get to go back to Taipei Downtown we’re 100% coming back here to stay as it was amazing and trust me when I tell you that you WILL want a lovely comfy hotel room to crash in after all the walking you’ll be doing (we averaged 10.3 miles per day). You might find cheaper hotels but none will be this convenient with location, be this nice and this comfy.
