★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a tourist, I'm glad I got a chance to play some tennis in Taiwan. No one here seems to speak English so be prepared to use your Chinese if you are visiting out of the country.
There are 6 courts and all are well maintained. In the middle of the day there is no shade but if you get there early enough and there are no lessons going on, the tall building next to the courts cast a shadow over 2 or 3 of the courts.
They have a locker room for you to change and shower if you need to after. Because Taiwan is so humid you will leave soaked in sweat so that's a plus. They also have a water dispenser and vending machine for drinks which is convenient. They also rent some racquets if you need them. The fees are really cheap compared to the states. It's NT$75 per hour per person, and NT$100 to rent a racquet. No court fees!
