Money-making machine. DO NOT go to this hospital! Misleading in their prices on their website and when you call in to enquire for charges. We called in advance to ask for details to have a covid-19 test result for travel purposes and know all the charges since we don't have the local medical insurance card. 3 persons gave 3 different and conflicting information about where or how to apply for it. But all 3 persons say $7000 for the expedite service that we wanted and were not very polite. "No other charges, just read the info on our website!". On their website states covid-19 test $6000 for normal service (results on the next day) /$7000 for expedite (results on the same day). The total cost for the covid-19 negative test certificate ended up being $9350! The medical certificate was issued by a pediatrician (!) who did not examine or ask any questions to the (adult) pacient. It took us literally 30 seconds for the swab test, 1 minute for the medical consultation, but nearly 1 hour in the line to pay for all the charges.

Emergency room volunteers and medical staff are all very professional and caring. ICU staff are caring and candid too. Hospital staff do their best to meet patient and family's wish. Giving us tip on how to care for the patient and items that they need to stay overnight.

Traffic at Rongzong is insane. Cars rip around the campus at high speed, begrudgingly stopping for pedestrians, if at all, and everyone acts as if this is completely normal. It's a hospital, with lots of slow-moving sick people and visitors who don't need to be bullied by road hogs. The medical services are fine :)

One of the major research hospitals in northern Taiwan. Everything is clean and spacious, the service is friendly, efficient and fast, and they have specialists for most illnesses you can think of. The doctors I've met so far seem knowledgeable and competent, and many speak fluent English. This is the hospital I'd try to go to if anything serious was wrong. It has two main disadvantages, mainly due to its own success. It is popular, so expect large crowds at the registration desk and apothecary. It is also a humongous maze with multiple large buildings connected by bridges, corridors, paths, and probably tunnels, so you might get lost the first few times you go there.

Taipei VGH is an amazing hospital their staff are always caring and helpful, honest, and highly skilled. I especially like how they are able to quickly understand the bigger picture of needs and take into consideration what you are saying instead of just looking at the problem. Our main physician is Dr Yu-Ping Su whom is an amazing doctor and performs miracles daily. He works along side a team of highly skilled physicians, nurses and other health care workers. Their facilities are state of the art. I am from New Zealand and have been back many times for various treatments. The best hospital I have been to by far. highly recommended.

The technician in Radiation department is not trained properly. Giving the ‘contrast dye’（for CT scan) too rush. So patient suffers unnecessary pain. Sad.

Some doctors r good. But most have a really bad atittude. Nurses are amateurs. Quite dsiappointing. People claim that the health service in taiwan is cheap and affordable but honestly, u get what u pay for. Remember tbat.

Had a fast and comfortable experience . As everywhere in Taiwan you need to be annoying and pretending to get things done in a faster manner, but this way the staff was really helpful and efficient . For first time registrations there’s an English speaking booth that you should use most of the time as it’s usually not occupied . The doctor I’ve seen was also well educated and spoke good English .( The others should be similar) Can recommend
