Taiping Elementary School

It’s my elementary school. As time goes by, the school has become a different style.

Taiping Elementary School in Taipei, a school over 100 years old.

◎In the 14 years before the Republic of China, in accordance with the establishment of the Taiwan Public School No. 178 and the Order No. 78 of the Taiwan Public School of the Japanese Emperor, the inheritance of the original Taipei Mandarin School was renamed Dadaocheng Public School. ◎In the first two years of the Republic of China, there were separate girls' schools and classes were held in the school buildings on the west side. ◎In the first year before the Republic of China, the women's branch was independent as Dadaocheng Women's Public School and the predecessor of today's Penglai Elementary School. ◎Since the first year of the Republic of China, our school exclusively accepts boys. ◎In the 4th year of the Republic of China, a branch school was set up to temporarily take classes in this school (the predecessor of the new elementary school today). ◎In the 6th year of the Republic of China, the name of our school was renamed Dadaocheng No. 1 Public School. The former branch was changed to Dadaocheng No. 2 Public School, and classes were held in the school's west bank. ◎In the 9th year of the Republic of China, Dadaocheng No. 2 Public School (today's New Elementary School) moved to a new location for classes. ◎In the 11th year of the Republic of China, the name of the school was renamed Taiping Public School of Taipei City, with an additional higher education department. ◎ In the 14th year of the Republic of China, students assigned to a class in the second academic year were transferred to the newly established Taipei City Bridge School. ◎In the 19th year of the Republic of China, the old school building on the west bank was allocated to the newly established Taipei Yongle Public School. ◎ In the 30th year of the Republic of China, the name was changed to Taipei Taiping National School due to changes in school system. ◎In 32 years of the Republic of China, the Higher Education Department was closed. ◎In the 35th year of the Republic of China, the system was changed to Taiping National School in Yanping District, Taipei City. ◎In the 45th year of the Republic of China, the number of girls increased since this year. ◎In the 57th year of the Republic of China, nine years of national compulsory education was implemented and the name was changed to Taipei Taiping National Primary School. ◎In the 76th year of the Republic of China, 3 classes with attached kindergartens were established. ◎In the 79th year of the Republic of China, the district administrative area was adjusted to merge the three districts of Datong, Yanping and Jiancheng into a new Datong District. The school was renamed Taiping National Primary School in Datong District of Taipei City.

The principals and teachers are very attentive to the children, adopt the correct teaching model to teach students, do not slap or scold classmates casually, the children handed over are very kind, and there are many clubs to choose from, and the principal is also very good to the children. I often tell the children some more inspiring stories. The campus is larger than the average elementary school. There are also some antiques in the Taiping Elementary School. The treasures have been preserved from the Japanese occupation period to the present. It was also during the Japanese occupation period. I went out to many elementary schools, ex: Yongle, Rixin, Daqiao, Penglai, Datong. Now there are fish and vegetable symbiosis activities and rice fields on campus. Of course, there are also some vegetables and chickens nearby.

More than 100 years old elementary school used to be the largest elementary school in Taipei North District

Today, November 9th is a small celebration of the Taiping State, as well as a sports meeting.

School history: Dadaodong Public School in 1898, Dadaodong First Public School in 1917, Taiping Public School in 1922, Taiping National School in 1941, Taiping National Primary School in 1968. School scene features: 1. Taipinggong Penglai mother's funny saying. (The local boys read Taiping, the girls read Penglai, and most of them will marry later.) 2. Prince Yuren visited the only school in Taipei. In 1924, the plaques of loyalty and filial piety are now hung on the middle corridor of the campus. 3. There are many collections in the school history room, such as wooden microscopes, the Emperor's Order Safe Box, and the sculptor's bust of Huang Shuitu. There are also many statues on campus. 4. The campus has a centuries-old tree statue.
