能夠看見群山繚繞，且光是橋面本身就是好看的風景。橋底下還有鋪設安全網，看起來安全性很足夠。
走完太平雲梯吊橋之後有兩條路可以選擇，一條是直接回程的步道，花15分鐘可以到太平老街及停車場，另一條是經過茶園的雲之南道步道，花40分鐘才會到太平老街。雖然茶園步道比較遠，但其中的風景更是值得一看，在走完好漢坡之後能夠置身在茶園之中，並且翻過坡之後還可以在茶園中瞭望太平老街的建築物群，喜歡拍風景照和個人照的人應該都會喜歡。如果時間不是特別趕，在走完太平雲梯後經茶園步道再到老街會是值得的。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 太平雲梯為高山單跨景觀吊橋，橫跨太平山與龜山間，長度281公尺、海拔約1,000公尺，為海拔最高之景觀吊橋，雲梯上可俯瞰嘉義風光觀賞夕陽、晚霞、雲海等自然景觀，知名的梅山36彎美景盡收眼底，由於視野極佳，更可遠眺嘉南平原直至台灣海峽，入夜後還有精彩燈光秀，以彩虹顏色紅、橙、黃、綠、藍、靛、紫為光雕表演，雲梯照明燈光展演依照一週7天排序，週一為紅色、週二為橙色，每天一色，從晚間6點到10時，整點會以彩虹色彩慢速變化，越夜越美麗。
開放時間～平日09:00-16:30、假日09:00-17:30，週三不營運

可以開車也可以騎車前往
不過首先要先經過梅山36彎
路邊有一些小景點可以俯瞰嘉南平原
但建議可以到吊橋那邊直接觀賞視野會更好??
若要去吊橋，要先去售票處買票
票價為100元，若為嘉義縣市的市民票價則為30元～（可看圖片中的票價說明）
可以帶寵物?
不過需要有提袋或推車才可以
從售票處到吊橋處大約步行10分鐘
有一些犀牛裝飾跟溜滑梯（目前沒開放）
吊橋的視野很廣闊
可以觀賞雲朵和山景
非常的愜意
整趟走下來加拍照大約半小時左右
欣賞完美景後可以到老街逛逛～

Well organized, although the main ticket counter is not right by the bridge, however there is a small booth selling next to the main entrance after yiu went up by stairs
