Explain that Taitung Airport is a military-civilian airport located in Fengnianli, Taitung City, Taitung County, Taiwan. It is commonly known as “Fengnian Airport”. The civil unit is the Taitung Air Station of the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of China. The hub of air traffic, the military part is the Luhang Fengnian base of the Republic of China Army Aviation Special Operations Command. In addition, there is another military airport in the northeast of Taitung City, named "Air Force Zhihang Base", which is managed by the Republic of China Air Force.
