★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully renovated old police headquarters now converted into the modern art museum, already open while the new one is being constructed.
The spaces and the architecture are lovely done.
The collection is somewhat small and not always as interesting.
There are many volunteers around who love to engage in a chat with you.

Unlucky, there was no exhibition and shop that could offer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was able to visit the Best Taitung art display for 2021. All the Artist display was absolutely beautiful and inspirational. One of my favorite of all was the "Landscape Container" by the artist "Yuka Otani". I was happy to see the explanation written in English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taitung Art Museum is not worth one dollar. They should let people enter for free. There is only one exhibition, two rooms and they charge way too much.
The tree house is not a real tree house, it’s just a platform on tree branches.

If dividend into two area, one for the restaurant and Café, the other is for display exhibitions
Free entrance fee during our visit
Easy street parking
Staff are helpful and full of passion, some of them able to speak English, we felt being welcomed
The indoor air conditioning was excellent and cool, we love it as at the time of our visit outside temperature was over 30 C
There are free use of washrooms, very clean

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small gallery. But very comfortable and well-maintained. Two air-conditioned exhibition halls connecting each other. Sometimes the exhibition is quite interesting. A restaurant in the front but kind of expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum exhibit hall was closed the day we visited but the surroundings with the trees connected with wooden boardwalks were simply amazing!
The restaurant is another plus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really had great time here during the design week. The beautiful installation to show case artists works like wonder. Museum is small, but perfect for solo show. Love the light and architecture.
