It is a two-storey baroque building built in 1927. The area is 150 ping. The building materials are reinforced concrete reinforced bricks. The entrance on the first floor is covered with a rectangular plaque inlaid with the Taitung Branch Office, with square windows on both sides. On the lintel of the door is inlaid a rectangular plaque "Taitung County Taiwan Provincial Liberation Movement Gay Association", and the left side of the door is embedded with a 1984 "Taitung Liberation Movement Gay Association Taitung Chung-Hua Hall Historic Site" plaque. There are four arc-shaped arch windows on the second floor, all of which have keystones. The round hilltop is decorated with the emblem of the Chinese Kuomintang and ears of rice. In June 1926, Taitung and the overseas Chinese in Hualien formed the Hualien Port Chung Hua Association, with branches in Taitung and Yuli. In 1927, 14 people from overseas Chinese in Taitung, including Liu Yang and Zheng Pincong, proposed to establish another Taitung Chinese Association, which was completed by local overseas Chinese and accepted the leadership of the Taipei Taiwan Chinese Association. At the beginning of the establishment of Taitung Chinese Association, there were 115 members, and the venue was located in Baoding, Taitung Street. The museum has a hometown association, which provides food and accommodation for those who cannot make a living, as well as medical treatment and referral work for villagers who are sick or unemployed. The name of this museum is an overseas Chinese gathering place, but it is actually a contact center for the anti-Japanese. In 2002, the Taitung County Government announced it as a historic building.
