★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The path is amazingly beautiful. There are several places with pond hidden in it. This is a wonderful place for bird lovers for bird watching. There are several paths throughout the area. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Taitung.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very quite and nice but tiny forest park where there is bike lane for you to ride through the whole park in 2 hours. They also have a rental bike shop near the parking lot for a very decent price of NT$100 for half day. Although walking is possible but taking a bike would make it more fun and enjoyable particular in the summer time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit for pleasant views and fresh air. Cost us nt$30 each to enter. We had our own bikes (it is a very large park) but my wife said you can borrow one - included in your entry fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like nature, walks, and mountain views you got to come here. It was incredibly beautiful.
The it was so clean and fresh, my boyfriend and I had wonderfully relaxing afternoon there biking around and even stopped by a lake to enjoy the view and some snacks.
The parking for scooters costs NT$30 per person.
They rent bicycles and that costs NT$100 per bike, or NT$300 for tandem bikes for the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in December, lots of bloodsucking mosquitoes. The scenery is serene and pretty good for a short stroll down the lake. The ocean nearby is.not.peaceful so the beach was empty. Not hard to get to and lots of space to park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The forest park is situated near Taitung Ocean park and it is well connected to public transportation. Forest Park has major two entry and exit points and Park is full of nature-dedicated trails with ponds, greenish vegetation, beaches. It is the perfect park for relaxing and it will take you close to nature. The park is expanded by approximately 10km with different vegetation and trails are designed in unique and adventurous ways that will keep you three hours busy in exploration. You can rent the battery or manual bicycle for a ride in the park and that is available at affordable prices in nearby shops. The park has a restroom at various locations and the complete information is highlighted in the Park in bilingual languages. But there are no restaurants in the Park or water dispensers or vending machines.
