The staff seemed to be stressed and not really willing to help me... Really bad considering it's a tourist town. Also the station is quite far from the city center and the transportation is horrible. Not everyone wants to rent a motorbike or take a taxi and and the need for waiting for the bus which is coming once per hour is also horrible.

There are lift and escalators access to the platform, which are excellent to the elderly, wheelchair and those carry heavy luggages Within walking distance you will find car rental company and hotels
G	Gino Lien on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time being here for a three-day trip, and it’s been a while not taking a railway trip, which to me was great! The whole station seems quite new, I guess the only disadvantage is that it’s too far from the downtown.

Platforms are cleaned and display of the information are in bilingual languages. The train station has booking counters and vendor machine for tickets. Staff and clerks are professional and can speak bilingual languages very well. The station has large space with comfortable chairs for sitting and there are many stores, one convenience store, visitor information centers and one bike rental shops. The station has displayed local artifacts regarding tribesmen and their cultures. The station is well connected to public station and has one bus stand nearby. The bus stand connects all the major areas of Taitung. There is a taxi stand near to bus stand. There is a clean and well managed restroom at the station.
